These are questions as old as time. Everyone at sometime in his or her life has wondered the same thing. But I have good news for you. I know where to find the answers to all these questions and more.

The Bible. The Bible consists of 66 books with one consistent story. The creation of man and the redemption of man. You see, God created you to have fellowship with Him. But Adam (the first man) disobeyed God and that spiritual connection between man and God was broken. Everyone born after Adam has those same rebellious, sinful desires. God cannot fellowship with sin. God is Holy and will not allow sin in His presence. But God loves us and made a way that we can come back to Him and have fellowship with Him.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world but that the world through Him might be saved” (John 3:16-17)

What does that mean – being saved? God tells us “all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). Every one of us has sinned. It is impossible to live your life and never sin. Sin doesn’t have to be murder or adultery; it can be a lie, an angry thought towards someone, hatred in your heart, or lustful desires. Things everyone does at some time. Regardless, it only takes one sin to keep you from fellowship with God. But here is the scary part. “The wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23). When we die, we will either go to Heaven (with God) or Hell (a place of torment apart from God). That’s the only two choices. It is a choice; because God through His Son Jesus made a way for you to come back to Him. But, if you choose to not accept His way then you are left with the only other choice, which is Hell.

Jesus said “I am the way, the truth and the life no man cometh to the Father but by me” (John 14:6) “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life: but the wrath of God abideth on him.” (John 3:36)

So, Why are you here at this moment in time? To Learn of God’s love for you and the choice He offers you for eternity.

Were you born for a reason? Yes, to fellowship with God your Creator, the one who made you and loved you enough to die to redeem (save) you.

Is there more to life than what you know- Yes, a life forgiven of sin. Of living as the Bible tells us, which is the only way to true peace, joy and happiness.

What happens when you die? That’s up to you. The choices are Heaven or Hell.

If you choose to repent of your sin, believe in the gift of eternal life God offers you though His Son Jesus Christ and give yourself to live the life God has for you, then you choose Heaven.

If you say – no thanks. Then you get the other choice – Hell.
